Dr. Kevin Krautsack, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Kevin Krautsack is a childhood cancer survivor passionate about teaching others how the body heals, how to eat right and exercise properly, and how to thrive in an increasingly toxic world.

When Dr. Krautsack was 15 years old, he was diagnosed with a rare form of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in his hip. On his mother’s birthday, his family was told he had three to six months to live if treatment was not started immediately. As treatment progressed, he became ill, lost his hair, and suffered many of the common side effects of chemotherapy such as decreased immune function that resulted in numerous infections. Each new ailment led to a new prescription with new side effects. This symptom based approach resulted in a frustrating cycle that only caused more pain and discomfort while the root cause of the problems was never addressed. It was not until Kevin met a chiropractor who taught him the true principles of health, how the body heals, and how to get to the cause of his health problems, that he was able to get healthy and regain his vitality.

Through his sickness and fight back to health, Kevin gained a wealth of information regarding nutrition, the human body, and what it takes to get well. He loves to share this knowledge with the world, and he takes pride in helping his patients reduce their need for dangerous and addictive medications by offering lifestyle changes that support and build a healthy mind, body, and spirit. He is now part of a global network of doctors committed to changing how people view and manage their health.

Dr. Krautsack has worked with thousands of patients throughout the Southeast and now he serves the community of Eugene, Oregon, where he teaches the principles of real health through various speaking events, workshops, healthy shopping tours, radio, internet, social media, and his clinic, Emerald City Family Chiropractic. **

He is passionate about helping his patients build healthy families and eliminate dangerous lifestyle habits that can cause illness. He achieves this through community education and wellness programs that make drug-free healthcare practical and affordable – even for those who do not have insurance.

He has a degree in Health Science and Exercise Physiology and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree to continue his education of the human body, the spine and nerve system, and personal and public health. Dr. Krautsack has also obtained additional training in pediatrics, spinal correction, nutrition, functional exercise and rehabilitation, detoxification, functional blood chemistry, and extremity adjusting.

Dr. Krautsack is a lifetime learner who studies health science topics passionately and works constantly toward improving his skills and knowledge to better serve his patients. He enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, skydiving, and has pursued many outdoor related adventures from hang gliding and parasailing to snorkeling, and rappelling.

He enjoys adventuring with his wife, Diane, and traveling around the world. They enjoy eating good healthy food and visiting and studying Blue Zones – cultures that exhibit the qualities of health and longevity that he teaches to his patients.
